On behalf of our community, the Chamber of Commerce wants to welcome you to McMinnville - Warren County, Tennessee. As you browse our website, we hope you’ll see that our community has much to offer whether you are “locating” here for a vacation or for a lifetime.
Warren County is conveniently located half-way between Nashville and Chattanooga, between Interstates I-24 and I-40, in the foothills of the Cumberland Plateau. Here you will find some of the most beautiful scenery in all of Tennessee.
From golf, tennis, fishing, hunting, mountains, and rivers to our beautiful state park and our historic and charming heritage, Warren County has something to offer almost any recreational enthusiast.
For example, each May over 400 bicyclists from all over the United States and several foreign countries compete in the Highland Rim Cycling Classic, one of Tennessee’s premiere road cycling events.

Also, some of the most challenging waters for kayaking can be found on the Caney Fork River as it flows through Rock Island State Park. If you enjoy spelunking, a visit to Cumberland Caverns - Tennessee’s largest show cave - is a must.
In addition to being blessed with an abundance of outdoor opportunities, cultural and educational interests can be served here as well. The Southern Museum and Galleries of Photography, Culture and History offers a “Celebration to life, art and beauty.” The Brady-Hughes-Beasley Archives and Museum, located in historic downtown McMinnville, has on display antique cameras and historical photographs.
The Warren County Heritage Center and Lively Museum of Photography chronicles Warren County’s history through various changing exhibits. The Magness Community House and Library offers patrons a glimpse into their own history with a first-rate genealogy room and magnificent artifacts.
